Night life in Alps Resort was boring ( The place I stayed, which was right beside the ski slope we went ). After dinner, I managed to wander around for 10 mins or so failing to find a cafe. I did finally though, after being told by someone else it was at the end of the 1 or 2nd level. The fee of about RM9 an hour left me wondering about the cost of living here. Managed to update on my internet life abit, an hour or so. Bb seems to be mad about my past, I'm not sure. I slept at 9.30 or 10, still leaving me at disbelieve ( That beats wondering aimlessly around an -4 celcius outside ) at times. Dreamt about bb at night, forget about the storyline buy I do remember something about her meeting one of my tour members and she ( the member, not bb ) comments "I do remember he being a bit soft". What that means I don't wanna even know. Not in a photo taking mood today, although I do have to finish the current role of film, about 20 left ( Which I finished, let the second one still with about 14 pics left though ). The Korea War Monument was ok, symbolic in someway, some of the exhibition was good, others wasn't. Like having a ceramic/pottery convention there. What ?
- The Kyongbukkung Palace was amazing. The only sad but amazing fact was that it was razed down be the Japanese ( Great joke made about how they burn our things too, why not join forces and kick their arse and burn their things ) and rebuilt later with the plans that was found. Some of the snow covered area is still nothing short of awesomeness.
- Dongdaewon was like a bigger Petaling Street ( Sg. Wang, really ). There are a few building alike, 7-8 stories tall, each floor dedicated to some items, such as womens clothing, menswear or shoes. Impressed ? Ya bet. Oh, they open from 11am and close at 4-5am. How's that for shopping experience ? But the crowd there well, bad. Sg Wang can easily top this anyday, and it was a Saturday ffs. The time given to wander around was 2 hours, not enough to do any bloody thing. I was in the middle of a tense negotiation when I had to cancel the deal due to unforseen circumstances ( I forgot the time ). Oh, they have a broadcast system that reminds people by name that their tour bus is leaving so please go back to it god damn it, women !... something like that... Left with my hands empty and my heart hoping that Itaewon would be the place I find my things, if I know what that is. Then travelled about an hour to live in a nice hotel with a crap surrounding. the entire strech of buildings was full of whore houses, pubs or night clubs. My night was good though, and early nap with a early wake.
