Arggh.. I discovered that my previous post wasn't posted at all !!! Sad. I have no idea how to face this task again. I'd have to write the whole thing back since I need to look back at this and well, laugh. Recently I got a new cupboard, so as I cleaned out the old one, I found a lot of old memories that I've lost inside there. What a time I used to have ! Old school pics, letters, birthday cards, pictures, silly stuff you kept for some odd reason back then, and alot of things you never even knew you had.

First off, some lyrics I wrote back when I was 16-17 I think, not very sure. Looking back at these, it brings back alot of small memories that binds who I am now to what I was back then. I guess the common thing was music, Im still as in lvoe with it as I was as awed by it back then.

Life's A Ball

If you see the rythm of life,
Where everything's wrong and nothing seems right,
And if you woke up in a brand new day,
Trying to forget things that happened yesterday,
Maybe you just have to take a look me,
And you will see you're what you meant to be.

Stop whatever you doing,
Or you'll never be found,
Stop whatever you're seeing,
And search for your life,
Cause if you don't get off the ground,
No one's gonna tell you twice.

Wake up and smell the joy of life,
Decide then yourself, don't throw the dice,
You'll will see what it feels like to be so nice,

Stop whatever you doing,
Or you'll never be found,
Stop whatever you're seeing,
And search for your life,
Cause if you don't get off the ground,
No one's gonna tell you twice.

And after all that you been through,
You shall see what I got for you,
So keep this up and never give up the fight,
One day you and I gonna be alive.

My first pathetic attempt at lyric writing, a 3 year old would have written a better piece than me and give it a good guitar solo to boost. Prolly would be hired by Santana to regenerate his dying career as well. This was inspired by then, now and forever stunning album, Oasis's What's The Story (Morning Glory). I had Champagne Supernova in mind when I wrote this piece, so if you somehow start this song with that tune, you might get waht I was aiming for. A great sing-a-long that would rock a concert or something like that. The title of the song tries to play into the pun, that Life's a ball, with up and down, mostly down .. and Life's a ball, a great moment where you dance to the greatest tune to your own rythm and step without a care in the world. It all depends on which ball you want to associate your goodself too, really.

For The First Time
Once all I knew was having fun,
Anything goes as long as it's done,
But I saw something that changed my life,
A pair of lovers holding hands,
Looking to his eyes lovingly,
As he looks back beautifully,

And for the first time,
I see the wonders from their eyes,
Shining like a diamond's shine,
Wondering what could they find,
For the first time.

From that I knew what to do,
Now I'm alone, and on the phone,
Telling my love how I feel,
Knowing that this is for real,

And for the first time,
I feel the wonders from her eyes,
Shining like a diamonds shine,
Wondering what would she find,
For the first time.

As night falls I look up to the sky,
Seeing a star shine so bright,
It shines it best, outshines the rest,

And for the first time,
I saw the wonders from the sky,
Shining so up and high,
Shining like a star should shine,
Shining so far away,
But I know it's here to stay,
At last it waves goodbye to me,
But I know what that now means,
For the first time.

How or why did I wrote this, well I blame Kenny Loggins for getting my head (was it Kenny Loggins ?) stucked with that bloody chord "for the first tiiiimmmmeee" for oh so long at that time. I have no clue who's song was it, where did I heard it or how I have heard it. But for some reason it kept playing over and over in my head so I try to construct something around it. And as love songs was the most easiest to write, I rhyme the bloody things up in about 6 minutes I think. Cheesy eh ? But I swear it could have easily gotten a million girls heart rate raise by 48 bpm if I had great looks, good body build and superb singing voice back then. Ahh, back then. If only I knew cheesy pop would do well now.

As we move on, I still haven't heard from amy since her suprise icq msg. And not much really from anyone that I've knew online, since I rarely want to talk to anyone these days, on or off line. Exhausted I guess, looking, feeling, hearing, going thru the same thing day and day. The best possible news I've receive this week would be my comfirmation that I would be going to Korea, hopefully around winter where I "might" get the chance to learn something new to embarrass myself with :) Oh, quite possibly by the call from my ex that states she hopes she will get another chance at restarting a relationship. Or by the slight mistake beary has in thinking I ask her to be my girlfriend, which she in turn tooks full opportunity in telling me that she likes me, yes... BUT .. ah, here comes ... she doesn't know me well and she still has a small flick of flame over her ex.... congrats I guess, I dunno, I'm unaffacted by both news, rather more excited at my hopeful chance of going somewhere new so I can miss Malaysia more..... . . . . .

Oh, I got the MD player. Sony MZ-NF610. Plays MD plus FM. Cost me around 400. Yet I still have no disc so I cannot tell you how much I apprieciate it yet, but I would get to fully test it on out trip to Genting.. Yes, my nice plan of getting a tan which would certainly lead to sunburn on the nice beach of Terengganu in the monsoon season is ruined by the majority vote to go to Genting (AGAIN!!) for 3 days and 2 nights. Heard a rumor about a rave would be going on there at that time ... please god please, yes !! please.

Oh, speaking of rave, I am maybe (yes, great english eh?) going to the Depavali rave at Mines, but I have no clue about the organiser, as the last trip to Mines was a rather painful one, (ask subbie or ernie) and I would rather jump from my bed than experience that again. And still have no clue who the DJ is. WHERE THE HECK IS FERRY !!! FERRY CORSTEN, YOU'RE NEEDED HERE !!!!

Aahhhhh, the eternal call of nature, for us to get a shower and relax calls suddently. I'd be off now, I also found a few diaries and random writings on that old cupboard, which I will post here and rid of that old 'buku latihan' . So if you want to well, god knows why, read it or something, you're pretty much welcomed to have a nice laugh at me :) Till then, see ya...
